Maternity sessions hold a special place in my heart — they’re a celebration of love, life, and the incredible journey of becoming parents. Recently, I had the joy of photographing Supriya and Yogesh’s maternity shoot at Bowness Park in Calgary, a location that perfectly reflects the serenity and warmth of this beautiful phase in their lives.


The Location – Bowness Park’s Natural Charm

Nestled along the Bow River, Bowness Park offers a dreamy backdrop for maternity photography in Calgary. With its tall trees, calm river views, and soft evening light, it’s one of my favourite places to capture intimate and timeless moments. The park’s autumn hues and gentle breeze created a perfect setting for Supriya and Yogesh’s shoot.

The Mood – Soft, Warm, and Emotional

We began the shoot during the golden hour — that magical time when the sunlight turns soft and golden. The warm tones highlighted Supriya’s natural glow, and the reflections of light on the water added a beautiful touch to their portraits. Every photograph was crafted to capture their bond and the peaceful energy of this new chapter.
