Capturing Love: A Personal Reflection on Danielle and Brandon's Wedding in Kamloops


As a photographer, I’ve had the joy of witnessing countless love stories unfold, but Danielle and Brandon’s three-day wedding in Kamloops this June was something truly special. This vibrant celebration beautifully intertwined Punjabi traditions with a modern flair, and I’m excited to share the magic of each day with you!


Day 1: Jago and Mehndi Ceremony

The festivities kicked off with the Jago and Mehndi ceremony, a night filled with laughter, music, and colorful celebrations. The air was electric with excitement as family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple. Danielle looked radiant as she adorned herself with intricate mehndi designs, each pattern symbolizing love and joy. Day 2: The Wedding at the Gurudwara


Day two began with a profound sense of spirituality as we moved to the Gurudwara for the main wedding ceremony. Danielle and Brandon’s love truly shone as they exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by family and friends. Danielle wore a stunning gold lehenga, embodying tradition and elegance, while Brandon looked sharp in his traditional attire. I focused on capturing the emotions of the day—the joy of family, the tears of happiness, and the loving glances exchanged between the couple. Day 3: Winery Ceremony and Reception


The final day of celebrations brought us to the picturesque Privato Winery, Kamloops. The lush vineyards and rolling hills created an enchanting backdrop for the couple’s Canadian ceremony and reception. It was a perfect blend of elegance and nature. Danielle transformed into a gorgeous bride in a soft, flowing gown, while Brandon sported a classic suit. As they exchanged vows against the backdrop of the vineyard, I could feel the love radiating between them.
